I'm just curious perhaps someone can enlighten me here, but why not move read up to the second line? It just seems to me like he could light a real spark there. Put Raffl on the third or 4th line. I know the third line is clicking good but I think downie and couturier would maintain that for the most part.

Probably just not to mess with things. I've actually thought Raffl has looked good, despite his inability to finish most times, he's getting chances and is one of the better skaters on the team. He looked great in Ottawa.

Yep I agree. And with the cap raised next season and us signing him to a more reasonable cap hit I think it'll be up to Vinny on whether he plays in Philly or Tampa.

Given that is the Blackhawks tonight I thought I'd pop in to mention that Jonathan Toews' parents had seats right in front of us during Game 6 of the 2010 finals. They were incredibly friendly, classy, and down-to-earth even when we were ribbing them a bit. Nice people. Makes it easy to root for their son in general after the fact (as opposed to say, Patrick Kane).

They were very gracious in victory as well.
