I think it's safe to say this is an at best average team.

When Shanahan reviews the tape on the B. Schenn hit on Versteeg, can he also take a look at L. Schenn standing in front of the net with his thumb up his ass and suspend him too.

Taking the C off a player that was all world 1.5 seasons ago doesnt change the following:

1. Hartnell useless
2. Not a single dman that make an outlet pass

True, but you are either a top shelf player, or you aren't. Giroux hasn't been anything close to that level since the end of that season, and he looks lost out there.
Not saying strip him of the C is the answer, but he's been just as awful as anyone else on the team this year.

Maybe..Maybe Coburn is a low end number 2.. other than that ..The D is a big enough reason to get rid of him and that doesn't even address having 27 muckers and grinders on this team from a forward position.

I thought so too, but after seeing the way a real team is just toying with the Flyers I don't think this is even an average team. I hate saying it, but this team has no identity and I put that on G. Just look at what this team has done and looked like with him wearing the C.

I expected them to lose ... and maybe even lose by 3 or 4 goals. But after a pretty decent first 20 minutes I foolishly got my hopes up that they might actually win.

Same as its been the past 2 years. They need to move a forward for a legit top pairing Dman. Unfortunately that seems something they flat out refuse to do.
