2 months into his Flyers career are you shocked Lecavlier has had a knee injury/concussion/broken back?
- PLindbergh31

Not at all. I thought the move was a head shaker. I think the team needed talent and leadership. Not sure they got that with Vinny.

He has fabulous talent but he's breaking down. I'm more surprised at how unobtrusive he is on the team. He scores but he's hardly making himself known on the ice or off of it. He's like a ghost.

Looks like he is breaking down. 2 months into a 5 year deal having a broken back isn't great.

He does a great Beliveau impression, doesn't he? Everybody loves him, doesn't make any waves, carries himself with class.

So back on a hockey topic. Do you think the Chicago fans will treat Emery well with his return?
- FlyersGrace

they should. he earned them 34 out of a possible 36 (frank)ing points last year.

Let's all wish Flyers defenseman Mark Streit a happy 36th Birthday.

Definitely, after Khabi this year Razor is missed (even with his horrible start - still better than Bulin).

Not sure if the Hawks will have a video tribute but they have for Frolik and Bolland.

I'm thinking perhaps a Ray Emery statue next to Jordan's outside the United Center.

This dude is more physical than Streit, and would beat L. Schenn in a match race.

He's seen more than his share of BS down in Tampa, with the "Michael Jordan of hockey" crack and some of the public ownership battles they had down there. I doubt whatever goes on here phases him much.

Always respected him (yes, even after the Max Talbot fight).

Ahhh, just having some fun.

Actually Rube just signed him as a corner outfielder for the Phils. Figured he'd lower the average age for the Fightins this year.

With all the claims that Morin and Pronger look the same, I'm surprised this slipped under the radar.

That's good to hear. I'm still in amazement our goaltending tandem has been this good. It's a shock to the system for a Flyers fan. And so it would be nice for him to get some accolades in his former building.

Out of curiosity what was your take on the Emery/Holtby fight/beatdown?

- FlyersGrace

My take was I wish he would have done that to Jackman last year.

I don't think anyone saw the Holtby thing in a positive light but that game seemed to be a turning point for your record. Do you think it brought the team together?

A win tonight is hardly a sure thing. Hawks have been up and down with this lineup. Having Shaw back helps.

He did what was expected of him when he was here. He posted really good numbers while playing cheerleader/sidekick. He wanted a chance to be a starter and that wasn't going to happen with Crawford. I wish him nothing but the best and would be disappointed if any Hawks fans treated him otherwise.

i hate that organization more than i hate the Pens Rangers and Devils combined...i have never seen a more arrogant org ever...i detest nasally Howie with every fiber of my being...I just want to punch that guy right in the face. They treat their fans like brainless dog poop and the morons still go to the games...

Every single eagles game ive seen or watched i root for them to loose.

Being force fed that crap for hours on end on sportsradio every day just to listen to maybe five minutes of hockey coverage.....I made the switch to internet radio and listening to sportsnet590....funny thing is they talk more about the flyers than that poop station wip or the crapnatic......they had berube(590) on literally a hour after he was hired.

- PhillaBully

You could just as easily substitute "McCaskey" for "Howie" and that would apply to the Bears.

IOW, we feel your pain. Current Bears ownership is as bad as Dollar Bill Wirtz. Only thing they have done right may be Trestman. They are so cheap they are laying the groundwork not to franchise Cutler today. Any chance they get to save they will and the tail gate crowd continues to pay.

That is reserved for Toews. They may give Razor a decal on some form of dispenser in the bathroom though.

He got his name on the cup. That is what counts.

I would have voted for the statue if he had given Jackman the Holtby treatment.
