I wonder what Ott's price is? Dolan will put pressure on Slats to make some moves that's for sure |

Something tells me Dubi will be lighting us up tomorrow night, I say at least a goal, couple of big hits and a fight in his first game back at MSG.
I love Nash and would still do the trade but if there was a way to sub someone else in for Dubi at the time of the trade I would have been happier. He's the kinda guy they could use now. Plays with heart, hustles, hits, drops the gloves when needed, can put the puck in the net (at times anyway). Prust and him were never properly replaced. - pcjr307
Hindsight is 20/20 same on Prust. Me and jimbo were the biggest Dubi fans on the site, but we both felt that his play and how the fans had reacted to him meant he had to go. I wish he had stayed but doubt he would have put up the same numbers here given his fast regression when on the squad. |

Is that going to cost a 3rd round pick and maybe Miller? - jslnyr1102
a first and miller wouldn't get byfuglien
likely a roster player that's decent maybe del zotto, miller, and a 1st. maybe that doesn't even do it. we are talking a top pair dmen that is physical as hell with a ton of offense
he is one of winnipegs best assets and Chevy knows it. byfuglien and ladd probably have the two tallest asking prices on Winnipeg right now |

If you want to make a deal with Winnipeg, it should look something like Stepan, Miller and Del Zotto for E. Kane, and hopefully we can avoid the 1st rounder. |

Kane is the NHL version of Allen Iverson IMO...if anyone with a decent shot takes that many attempts per game they are bound to score. I love him on my fantasy team but would not really be thrilled to see him in Ranger blue |

Likely not enough and creates holes in rest of the lineup, but would love Kane in NY |

Well, shoot and score, I can live with that. |

Move 'Zuccs to center, already bringin up "the undertaker" I don't see the problem. The team needs power forwards, if you have to add the 1st, so be it, his contract is very manageable. |

I suppose it has to be an improvement over our standard strategy...shoot wide and chase the rebound all the way back to Hank |

He's exactly the type player they should be looking to bring in, a power forward with a chip on his shoulder. |

Anyone know what the payout is on McIlrath getting into a fight in his first NHL game? or how long before he receives a turn at the Shanahan roulette wheel of justice? |

I actually think that is more than enough probably too much. I love Kane's potential, but he is a bit of a problem child and supposedly may want a trade. I don't think it would take substantially more than Stepan. |

I was one of the few not over the moon about that 2011-2012 team, despite the success.
The team just hasn't had a whole lot of talent on the roster; especially after the 2007-2008 season.
Tortorella maximized what he had here because he knew what he had here wasn't a lot. - MidnightMarauder
He used the strength that he had to win games. It was actually his only option and I thought it was pretty damn smart to stick to his guns. |
