sorry...but does he really fall into the category of Offensive guy? he has no goals? maybe he's technically not a shut down type of dman, but you cant deny his natural size and strength....you always need a couple of big bodies in front to clear the crease for your keeper, no?

Looking at goals isn't the only way to determine offense though. Leading the team in assists. The reason the blueline isn't getting many goals is because of guys like JVR parking in front of the net and getting all those tip in goals. He's definitely more of an offensive guy than a defensive one. Should certainly have more goals, but yeah he's definitely a PP specialist kind of guy.

Certainly has good size to play a better defensive game to be sure though.

not living up to the hype....playing at Lake Erie tyring to figure out how to play in the NHL. Hasnt been able to transition well from Junior/AHL to the big show

Diane "Pylon" Phaneuf is a scrub, especially since she's a UFA next year will get little to nothing on the market. So maybe at the most they'd get Frattin back and a 7th maybe for Diane.

Elliott is down in the AHL working on his game, Roy wanted him to rebuild himself with big minutes partnering with Blades teammate Seimens.

He has some decent numbers, (12 pts in 23gms) will be called up eventually, maybe after a few deadline moves. Holden, Guenin, and Benoit are quick cheap fixes. They wont see much more time after this season.

wow, reminds me back in the day when Gary Leeman was banging Al Iafrate's wife, and then started dating her.
