I don't think he sucks. I mean you might find it's his Jersey that sucks. If he where to put on our jersey he might not suck I think he is a female dog when it comes to fighting and starting poop then not finishing but he can hit and he can log big minutes and he isn't slow as (frank) although he isn't the fastest guy either and he has a good shot and plays with a bit of fire. I wouldn't complain if we got him unless what we gave up to get him was just insane.

for who Nonis has bad cap management skills but I don't think he is on level of Feaster stupid lol. Kulemin might be a nice f/a signing if you can get him for like 3.5 be a great replacement for Zubs he hits a lot has a big body and had a scorers touch for one season lol

He is horrible defensively i don't care he occasionally throws a big hit. We don't need defense at all either. If we give up next to nothing than yeah im not going to complain at all. Just don't think the leafs throw him away for nothing though. He is also one of those guys who has only gotten worse since entering the league instead of better.

he has 12 points and is a plus 12 on a team that doesn't even know what defense is. I think he has figured himself out and it quietly becoming a star player again. I think a lot of the league wide hate from the guy stems from Leafs fans constantly going on about him and not so much is lack of skill or effort. Obviously we don't need more defense but that has been the case for a while now and Lou continues to draft defense with our highest picks and continues to add 6th-7th dmen at deadlines. I mean obviously it would be pretty out of the norm for us to make a move that big but we where rumored to have interest in Jbo for a long time and once he was moved to St Louis we where rumored to have interest in Phaneuf. If it where to happen you have to think Greene or Zajac would be the two who make the most sense for what the Leafs would needs going forward so we would either have one of the best pairs in Dion and Greene and we can move Larsson or someone for help to replace what we lost in Zajac or Dion replaces Greene and nothing much else changes.

I kind of wish when we where nearing the deadline we had of moved Parise for Jbo + I mean we might not of made it to the scf without both Parise and Kovy but at least we would of got something for him lol.

Zubrus just missed Kopitar when he dived in the o.t of game one when he ended. who knows what happens if we win that first game. They would of lost that whole ora they had to them running through everyteam andnot losing on the road till that series.

I've been a supporter of Deboer but you have to question what he was thinking by leaving Marty in there when he was clearly not on his game. In the first you just knew he wasn't on his game when one of the shots went through his legs but went wide. He should have been pulled after the 3rd goal. Cost us the game, you can blame Marty but Deboer definitely deserves more of the blame IMO. Everyone has a bad game, but the coach needs to recognize it and he failed to do so.

don't get me started on that series..

tho i digress, both teams can't win it all, and the games were close. LA was healthier, fresher, and blessed with blessings upon blessings from the hockey gods in game 6.... Usually a team with those 3 things going for it may have the upper hand in a series.

BUT, we DESTROYED Philly and Owned the Rangers. It makes losing against LA not as rough, at least for me. I mean it kills me.. but there's some level of solace in how we got there. disposing of 2 "scary teams" that are also rivals.
