Hang on, how is it Orpik's fault that the pass that Eriksson was supposed to receive ends up in his skates then past him and searches for it?
Chara would have laid the same hit, not bumped him, you know it, and he should. That play by Orpik was a hockey play and to be honest it's a hit that James Neal is lucky he doesn't get a lot of the time coming out of his own zone.
He misses a lot of Geno's blind zone exit passes due to looking up rather than at the puck. Once that puck was gone Eriksson should have know he was going to get hit. The puck was close enough to get hit, and far enough for the official to call interference if he saw fit, which on this play he didn't. That's the debatable part, not that Eriksson wasn't looking, that's not the hitters fault.
