Yeah, that guy was a goof. Reminds me of some moron who said the Hawks did a good job on the PK because they kept the other team on the perimeter and forced them to score on the PP from sixty feet out. Makes you wonder what Q was thinking of when he called the PK a disaster that could only go up. Didn't he know that goals that go in from the blue line on the PK don't count.

A league that can treat different kinds of losses differently could somehow make that happen. |

Q also has to have him on the ice with Roussel - don't know that he was. - StLBravesFan
I saw it at least once in the 1st. Bollig pushed him a couple times in the dallas crease. Of course Roussel ran away. But he did that stupid head fake thing at Bollig at the end of the game when he was already on the bench |

I can see it now - copy the basketball 3-point line with a 2-point arc!!! |

They were both on the ice several times that I noticed. Bollig got in his ear a couple times and the gelding skated away. Not sure Q wants him to go all Thornton on him, but I'd like to see him go all Emery (v. Holtby) on the swine. - mohel

As was the Seabrook pass to spring Kaner - Ogilthorpe2
Indeed it was. Seabs and Keith were both +3; this Keith for Norris thing just might take off. |

that was one hell of a series. To this day a lot of the avs say that was their toughest series that year. How many Cups does roy have? 4 I think? And 2 Conn smythes? I hate the guy but he can back it up - tomcat24
Yeah it was a helluva series, lost in OT in the 6th game. At the time, I especially hated the Avs because Quebec City lost their team to Denver... I can't say I dislike Roy. He's an all time great and I admire and respect that.

Its off IMO. Also Mo you remember the date, about when we were talking about the GAA? I want to track it for the rest of the year for S&G, Colorado game? |

Roy is an all-time great, but the guy is a major a-hole. I always liked the Avs, especially Forsberg. I did hate Foote, though |

I do remember that; I'll be curious to see what you find (found).
Edit - they have tightened it up, except for the two 4-spots they put up after the Circus trip (which looked like some of the earlier games). Getting better, it feels to me. |

Agreed on getting better, its been 11 games and 24 goals, so 2.18, which is a fantastic number. I think we agreed 2.2 is the number to be happy with, so hopefully they can hover right around that the rest of the year |

John Wideman said tonight that Bollig and Roussell danced while both played in the AHL. Roussel wants no part but obviously tangles with others.
For the record both Sharp & Versteeg can throw but how successful has Bickel been in fighting career AHL and NHL? |

Not to sure many are gonna share this opinion, but when Bickell is ready to return i wouldnt mind seeing him replace Bollig for a few games on the 4th line with Kruger and Smith, if...IF Morin continues to play well on the 3rd line. At least till Morin is eventually sent back down, and till Bickell regains some confidence and goal scoring touch. Also i think as some have pointed out that Bolligs game has slipped lately. Maybe send Bollig to Rockford for a bit? Bickell can still giv u some physicallity and its not like Bollig is that great of an enforcer anyway. So, at least on some nights, when Bickell comes back why not try him out with Kruger and Smith and keep Saad with Shaw and Morin? I think Saad bein back on the 3rd line LW(though he is obviously a top 6 talent) has helped to rejuvenate it and make it look dangerous once again. So Bickell in for Bollig on 4th line LW once he's healthy? Anyone else think its a legit temporary idea? |

Bollig vs Rousel

Rousell hung on like a coward. No wonder he wouldn't go with Bollig after watching that one.
Rousell will fight but picks his spots and looks for a quick jump like we saw with Seabrook last year. Really wish we could have seen Bollig catch him away from the officials in the 3rd.... Even the other Dallas players were basically shaking their heads on the bench at his antics. He is going to hurt someone eventually - tonight the slew foot and the elbows. |

The guy who counts is Q and I think that means Morin back on the shuttle. I like Morin but the penalties and turnovers must drive Q nuts. |

Good point. Im sure Q would rather keep Bollig around than Morin, but i think Morin gives u way more offensively than Bollig and i think Bollig's physical presense isnt anything that special and should be replaced if u have other more skilled players to fill positions. We didnt need Bollig during the Cup run...I know he's much improved, but still.... |
