Tonite (and against Florida), good defense has led to the offense: Hawks have protected Raanta very well since Crawford went down
- StLBravesFan

Waiting for the meatheads (Fvineze) who will cite Raanta's SV% as a reason he should start over CC.....

I'm more curious about the Hawks' goalie tomorrow. Will we see Simpson? I think Q must be mighty tempted to ride Raanta into the ground for the next three weeks.
- NewToHockey

Raanta has played well tonight, so my guess is he'll go tomorrow.

How many times have the Hawks been on national TV? Are they saving the games for down the home stretch? Of maybe they've been both Comcast and national and I haven't noticed?
- NewToHockey

The games between Dallas and Anaheim were both national on NHL Network.

Certainly possible.

I think, if Q can help it, Simpson is parked on the bench as much as humanly possible until Crow is ready to get back in the saddle.

Dallas has had a lot of time in the Hawk zone, but Hawks keeping the away from Raanta nicely, and blocking a lot of shots. Dallas may be winning the Corsi/Fenwick battle, but good goalie protection by our heroes.

At the end of 2. Hawks has outshot them 28-14.

Wowser... He's streaky, but when he's on he's a goal scoring machine, for sure.

Besides Crawford's injury, only one downer the past 2 games: too many penalties.

Lucky Florida and Dallas have shiit power plays: can't keep taking 4 per game.

Raanta is rather flexible...

...Troy Murray said he just pulled his groin watching him make that save.

LA is looking scary. I thought Quick was so important to their success but they haven't missed a beat with him being out.
