I know defense wins championships, but damn is it fun to watch a GREAT offense. Been a long time since the Hawks were this high-scoring. Have to go back to the 80's when every team was. I love this core

Been in Morin's corner for a while & I know he's had to work on his game but he's got to be earning his stripes with Q a little now.

-----

Without looking ahead... the Hawks have a lot of forwards with current and up-and-coming (ie. TT, Danault, McNeill, Nordstrom) in the near future the Hawks have a great problem.

What's everyone's lineup this year when Bickell comes back and everyone's healthy?

- TyCamScore

You would think Morin gets sent down, but with Handzus and Bickell with some injuries this year you almost have to keep an extra forward and trade either Thor or BBank......

Roussel wont drop them with Bollig..

You're right, I think. Probably need to run him and take the extra two.

Dallas has had a lot of time in the Hawk zone, but Hawks keeping the away from Raanta nicely, and blocking a lot of shots. Dallas may be winning the Corsi/Fenwick battle, but good goalie protection by our heroes.

Well at any rate, they're not going to blow anything tonight. They're kating circles around the Stars. And even with the soft goal, Ranta is 13 out of 14 for a .929, which we'll take any night of the week.
- Tugboat

I've said it before, I would tell Raanta just keep them to three or less. Our offense can carry him at a 3.00 GAA for the short term.

I wouldn't deal away defensive depth in order to make a roster spot for Morin. That defensive depth will be needed for the playoffs.

Tonite (and against Florida), good defense has led to the offense: Hawks have protected Raanta very well since Crawford went down

Why doesn't Sharp play 2C? I could see this being a perfect marriage.

When Bicks comes back, someone will have to go. It might be Morin, though I don't like that...

Versteeg looks like he's moving well - good decisions - good hands - good pick-up.

He'll contribute nicely this year.

Yeah that's true. That is the key to this team: great team d leading to great breakouts and quick transition

I'm more curious about the Hawks' goalie tomorrow. Will we see Simpson? I think Q must be mighty tempted to ride Raanta into the ground for the next three weeks.
