I think it's a good thing. A lot of these guys are still growing, the important ones are all locked up long-term (except for Kadri, but he'll be locked up, no doubt) and there are guys in the minors who will be moving up to replace some of the more expendable guys that are leaving.

If the Leafs really want to save cap space, when this team is healthy, they should trade Kulemin and Raymond, and replace them with Holland and Leivo, and keep D'Amigo in over Orr. Makes for a younger bottom-6... but not much lost in skill... and a lot gained in jam.

Come on man. What he's saying is perfectly reasonable, and pretty accurate. Bozak is more suited to be a third line centre. He's miscast as a first line centre. But when he's injured and you replace him with an AHL callup, obviously that hurts the team.

If you replace him with a good first line centre, like the Leafs need to do, it makes the team better. and it's something the Leafs need to do.
