He hasn't seen 90% of these guys play. - Symba007
He's seen Virtanen...I've seen him at Hitmen games with his Bro Tod.
maybe he thinks if he ranks him that low he'll fall to the Flames in the second round....
Bob Mac's list has him 6. ISS at 12. Button....58.... |

Let's play the Todd Button draft pick game!
Who is ranked ridiculously high and out of place that will inevitably be the choice of the Flames!? (See Jankowski, Poirier, Klimchuk and such the past few years)
6. Adrian Kempe
23. Ryan MacInnis

Think Nick Ritchie or Haydn Fleury will be around for the Leafs if the pick in the early 20's? |

Ritchie will probably be there unless he picks up his play. |

I'd prefer a higher skilled guy personally, but it wouldn't be a bad pick because the Leafs could use getting a power forward that can score, Leafs desperately need skilled forwards in the system, we're seeing the big gap with the fact that a guy like Leivo (good player, but hardly a "top prospect") is probably the best forward prospect they have in the AHL right now. Our other top forward picks are looking dicey to say the least, Biggs (expected bottom-6), Gauthier (expected bottom-6) |

Do you follow the Swedish league a bit? How are DeLaRose and Collberg doing? |

De La Rose has been really good, upped his physical presence. Collberg same old, can't buy ice-time then he'll probably rape the WJC's again. He's a guy who should have come over to NA. |

DeLaRose bad. Collberg awful. Bad picks. You would think two guys that both weigh 176 pounds would score more eh? But not just that i think they are bad all round players. DeLaRose is bad but the better of the two. |

It'll be interesting to watch anyways. If they lose by even 1 goal all the dionites will come in here screaming I TOLD YOU!!! If they win it will be quiet in here. - Arctic_AARDVARK
All that hockey experience and you think 2 games without Dion will show his worth... lol |

If Neal got only 5, Phaneuf should be looking at 1 or a fine. |

The Problem with the Leafs is they haven't been able to score high end talent the other teams missed on like Detroit has for years. Though I've always said if Detroit knew how good some of these guys were why would their own scouts pass over guys 5-6 times.
There are some guys like Verhaege, Brown & Gauthier who could end up being really good or nothing at all. Even if they are really good they're probably 2-3 years away so for the immediate future it's not looking great for forward prospects. |
