I think if you want to get this poop out of the game, you have to start making th in-game punishment harsher. Neal's knee to head? Out of the game, 10 minute pp no matter how many goals.
All slashes? 5 mins. Thornton's bs? You play short the rest of the game.
Harsher in-game penalties...then you'll see that stuff disappear. A suspension is obviously not a deterrent. And it's obviously less of one with Shanahan. But I can't help but think the NHL wants to make sure they keep this stuff in the game.

Agreed...That said the only way to get true in game is if the Refs are given the opportunity to use replay...
The Refs ability to get things right in game is questionable at best...U cant have every hit/play resulting in 5min penalty and thats what will happen if they given that responsibility without review... |

Wow....2 days in a row I have suggestions.....daily  Anyways, we need a center, and a defensive defenseman....we have a trade history with Nashville, word is they're looking to sell....so why not take a shot? Legwand is pretty good at faceoffs, and pretty responsible defensively, Klein is right handed......could maybe pair with Phaneuf. |
