Fraser and Gunnarsson should be the bigger concern, besides blocked shots (Gunnar) they have been terrible.

If the Leafs have someone better to take Ranger's place, then by all means replace him, they don't at the moment unless they want to give some youngsters in the AHL an audition.

so a 2nd/3rd plus a choice of goalie 2 years younger than Reimer for Gardiner and Reimer. Yeah, pretty sure that's a no go.

You might have more luck with Ryan Pulock & Brock Nelson.

Frans is more than a depth Center especially with a better coach and more talent around him.

I'm not writing him off at all, he already looks way better than he did the first ten games of this season. Would have liked to have seen RC ease him in, but hey, RC does what he wants.
