Isles have plenty of prospects to make this deal work. Maybe Isles giving up a d prospect like Ville Pokka or Adam Pelech along with Poulin or Nilsson in goal for Reimer and Gardiner. - ses111
leafs need a #1 Center and a #2 Dman ..if you have those for sale I am sure Nonis is listening

Fraser and Gunnarsson should be the bigger concern, besides blocked shots (Gunnar) they have been terrible. - LeafMan
agree whole heartedly.. if the leafs can move gunnar they should.. his career is already winding down.. his body just isnt holding up

If the Leafs have someone better to take Ranger's place, then by all means replace him, they don't at the moment unless they want to give some youngsters in the AHL an audition. |

so a 2nd/3rd plus a choice of goalie 2 years younger than Reimer for Gardiner and Reimer. Yeah, pretty sure that's a no go.
You might have more luck with Ryan Pulock & Brock Nelson. |

Frans is more than a depth Center especially with a better coach and more talent around him. - ses111

Ok after cap geeking it and comparing I may be expecting to much.
After further review my issue is with RC giving him an average 19:30 TOI. |

Then NHL players have no clue what they are talking about calling him the most underrated player. |

Well, I would ask for a chicken ball poutine and a case of Bud, buts that's just me.....
Ranger was a step behind for the first while, difference being he has slowly improved while I have been watching Gunner and Fraser, wondering if their injuries will ever let them get back to where they were a year ago?? |

What do you think we can get for Bozak?
If we can lock Bolland up, and Holland continues to play well, we really don't need him.
Also Kessel is locked up so no worries there.

Only deal I do with NYI is for Strome.
Reimer, Cody Franson, and a 2nd for Strome. |

how wonderfully un-funny you are. the point is that sometimes it takes 2-3 periphery deals to get the pieces in place for a big deal. it's all about looking at the bigger picture. |

pretty much the same...I would love to get a Center prospect like that...but I doubt very much he is even remotely available. seems to be doing well in the AHL

Nothing is out of the question with Snow in charge, and he really seems to dislike the kid for whatever reason. |

I'm not writing him off at all, he already looks way better than he did the first ten games of this season. Would have liked to have seen RC ease him in, but hey, RC does what he wants. |
