Official word: Staal has a concussion, though not viewed as bad as before. What that means? Who knows, but as we have seen the impact of a concussion is cumulative, so even if minor, absence and impact moving forward could be significant

To me each concussion, no matter how severe relative to previous ones, is a serious matter. An accumulation of head trauma is not good for any one. It may get to a point where he decides in order to preserve his quality of life post-career his best course of action would be to retire.
