I've seen Shink a fair bit. Lately see more of why analysts say he fell so far. Weak on his skates( fall down a lot). Not great defensively and they say he's pretty cocky.

I hear he's playing injured right now which is why he's not as good right now. He'll likely have a decent NHL career. But still lots to work on.

Absolutely. He does spend a fair amount of time on his arse. Not to many prospects don't have a part of their game to work on though.

I think he'll be a quality 2nd line type 25 goal guy.

The new TV deal will have no effect on next years cap though. There will surely be a jump from that for the 2015/16 cap. 70 million would mean 4.2 billion revenue. I will believe that when I see it. That would be a 900 million increase since the lockout 2 years ago.

Thing about the cap is everyone tends to forget that the cap goes up for everyone, not just their team, and cap inflation equals salary inflation. Good for teams like Montreal and Toronto who need to sign their dmen but it doesn't magically open up space for more players.[/img]
