There are other intangibles that hurt his chances. With his size he most likely will only play in the NHL if he cracks top 6 and his window to so will be small. Also there's a reason why he kept dropping in the draft. You don't really find your offensive gems in the late first round. At the very least your fingers are crossed.

I'm a tiger season ticket holder. There aren't to many kids that come to town who typically stand out like shinkaruk. He didn't exactly have a study supporting cast his last two seasons.

He's Tyler ennis, but faster.. A better finisher, and a better all around version. He's not going to win scoring championships, but he'll have a fine nhl career.

Hopefully the nucks trade him for some soup can like Derek Roy before he does.

Schroeder never touched shinkaruks production at the junior level.

Shinkaruk wouldn't be the first flop ever. The tigers have historically batted fairly well at producing kids who have come as advertised.

If Bernier and Rielly play we win.. Reimer and no Rielly in we lose.

I've seen Shink a fair bit. Lately see more of why analysts say he fell so far. Weak on his skates( fall down a lot). Not great defensively and they say he's pretty cocky.

I hear he's playing injured right now which is why he's not as good right now. He'll likely have a decent NHL career. But still lots to work on.
