Just looked at the numbers... If the "better teams" arguement is used, what does that say about quick. Has he been overrated?

They're having a solid season, no doubt. Ill tell you the difference between the two teams...health.

Not quite. Health and a competent D corps. On any given night, we have 2/6 d-men playing solid games. It's a serious problem and a major diff. between us and Montreal. The truth hurts. Having said that I'm happy they finally put JML in the lineup. We've only be on that hobbyhorse for 5 weeks or so in here.

I disagree. I think our d is being exposed and taking too much of the heat. The forwards simply aren't doing enough in their own end, and they're not doing enough to keep the puck in the oppositions end. This team, mainly due to injuries, has become a one line team. They need to do more to help the D clear the defensive zone, and they need to start shooting the puck more and using their speed to control the play.

When comparing the Leafs forwards to the Habs forwards, we have enough firepower to not have to rely on our goalies saving us as much as the Habs should need to. The problem is, there is barely any chemistry between players or any level of consistent nightly line ups because their is always a chunk of the forwards key players out of the line up. A state of flux and confusion, and the D ends up paying the price.

When your team is being outshot almost 2-1 every night, the pressure is going to get to the D men and exaust them, while the forwards are getting a free pass for not contributing on their end of the shot column or helping the D/G reduce their burden.
