I like Orpik and would never wish what happened to him on any player.

Neal's deliberate knee to the head was as dirty as it comes and just as dangerous, if not more so, than what Thornton did, and it directly lead to the scrum.

It is what it is.

How did what Neal do lead to the scrum he was down in the other end from where the scrum was. Also I disagree with you that what Thornton did was not dangerous. the guy wrestled a player to the ground in which he could have hit his head on the ice and then he punched him in the face with his gloves on with no way for Orpik to defend himself.

Its pretty obvious that Thornton was pissed at Orpik for the hit on Erickson and that's why he went after him.

Just as dirty and dangerous?

I completely disagree. It was dirty and dangerous but not even in the same ballpark.

thornton should be gone for a while. On the streets of any metropolitan city law dictates that action such as this will not be tolerated. So, on the ice goes the same, regardless of Neal actions. Marchand was most likely "turtling" considering the player he is. Neal's head is also looking straight ahead as to not even recognize where marchand's head is. What thornton did tonight is discusting and DELIBERATE! No questions asked.

How do you know Orpik will be back?

You think I agree somehow with Thornton's actions?

I'm just saying that what Thornton did doesn't suddenly make what Cooke did all right.
