That's awesome -- the knife twist is just a little deeper when a transaction from a decade ago is resurrected

I don't care if Kimmo is not on the bench... no way Streit should be rewarded with PP time after the kind of night he's had... put Grossmann out there, that would send a message.
- Tomahawk

Yeah, he is struggling.

Patrick Sharp would look ugly in orange and black anyway.

Yeah, but none of the D-Men have done much tonight -- Meszaros/Schenn/Coburn/Grossmann got worked like two-dollar whores during that 102 seconds that would live in infamy if it was against a Metro opponent

Riding that wave of momentum from Hockeytown right through Dallas.
Discipline right where it needs to be.
L. Schenn single handed putting the Stars top line in his back pocket. What a monster.

Thank God the Flyers got Morin instead of that lazy Russian bum Nichushkin.

Looking forward to Wed night, can't wait for Ellison to get his hands on Sharp baby!

Especially since Nichushkin went just before Morin. It happens.

Keeping track of the two goal or less games was getting a bit monotonous.

The only reason the defense doesn't called out more is because Mason has been so stellar. Mason is the team MVP so far this season by a large margin.

The defense as a whole has sucked just about every game this season. The 1.5 mill goaltender shouldn't have to bail out the $25 million dollar defense every freaking game to get a win.

“@NickDobo: Guys, that's 22 games in which the Flyers have not scored more than 2 goals in a game this season. That is 50 times in the past 77 games.”

I'm fine with Morin, had other players in mind but that's the ways things went what's the point of constantly complaining about it.

Watching Streit play, and seeing their glaring need for a guy at the point with a right handed shot makes me upset a bit with the GM. Because they filled their need on the blue line with the wrong guy this summer.

For a team that seemingly has the ability to spend to the cap limit every year, they cannot find a defenseman with decent right handed shot who can also skate the puck?

It has to be their first priority.

Not mad at Streit, he is what he is: plenty deliberate with the puck, very slow, and average barely in his own zone. Blame management.

Meh, I just look at they are what they are.

Had a really poop streak at the start of the year. Got on a hot streak for a few games after.

They are an average club in today's NHL. The big concerns at this point are whether Voracek/Giroux can bounce back to top line form, and stay there consistently.

That and being able to manage the anchors that will be Hartnell's, Streit's and Vinny's contracts.

Assuming the Devils put up more than one goal tonight the Flyers will be sitting alone ranked 29th of 30 in goals per game, ahead of only the Sabres. Take a look at their roster if you have a sec. We're essentially dead last in the league in scoring.

Time to start putting some guys out on the trading blocks.
