8) As Carey goes, so go the Canadiens. Still applies.
Isn't that the case with most teams?

I figure Prust has never really had to learn to take a hit considering his size, until now. |

Pretty sure he'll average closer to 30...something about past performance generally being the best predictor of future behavior... |

Not an obstacle. So much weirdness and variety in characters is more than enough. |

hmmm, not sure it applied to Detroit for the last 10 years. Or to Chicago for the last 4...
I guess it depends on the level of suck you are referring to. |

Likely true. Sadly, it's true of many NHLers I believe. That or they are coached (later in hockey) how to position themselves to draw penalties which would be stupid, but I'd see some coaches pulling that Gordon Bombay. |

6) Gorges doesn't get that much credit because as excellent as he is defensively, he is as bad offensively. Yes, he made a nice pass last night, but he also misses many easy breakout passes. I'm not bashing him at all, just saying that when you start to have guys that can play on both sides of the puck (Subban, Markov on most nights, Emelin once he's back to game shape), then guys like Gorges get less attention and that's ok
Gorges plays is most appreciated by the goalie. This is why fans have hard time appreciating what he does, |

Prust would be an average sized junior player if he was 18 right now.. Not sure he was ever that big compared to his peers...
Edit: There are 17 players on halifax heavier or the same weight as Prust... And a few 1 or 2 pounds lighter and they are small compared to some teams |
