Thought it was very telling when Zaun was interviewed on the TheFan this week he was talking about Arencibia coming to camp after his first year of AA and Zaun was more impressed with him then than any other point in his career. That, to me, speaks volumes about having poor coaching in place throughout their entire organization.

Dioner had a nice year last year. He had been far from stellar over his career. Arencibia has a lot of talent (now).

But yes, they need pitching in a huge way. Fifth in the east is pretty much a given unless something drastic happens.

I read in the paper they might be going after David Price.

This would, effectively, be something drastic.

but I'll believe it when I see it.

Yeah, I needed that game for my pool. It was fun for 31/2 quarters though.

Arencibia was more concerned with what the girls tweeting him looked like and what Hayhurst would say about him between innings.

Agreed. Too bad they couldn't teach him how to catch or how to have an approach at the plate. I'm sure Texas will though.

He's something else. At this point I'd pick him ahead of AP.

Zero is strong. Seems entirely unlikely that some other team wouldn't be able to entice him away from Toronto though. That being said, having a rotation of Price, Richardey, Buerhle(sp?), Morrow, ??? would still not be enough in the AL East.

I know.

As much as it pains me to admit this... you are right most times.

1. My Jay's boner last year when they were the biggest hype-machine in the universe.

2. Shooting my mouth off on fb when the Leafs had a hot start.

...and someone just got their 1st NHL goal aganst the Leafs.
