Ok, little update on the Michael Ryder rumor. Apparently, Ryder and up-and-comer defensemen David Fischer would go to Atlanta for Marian Hossa. The conditions for the trade to happen would be that Hossa would have to sign with the habs this year or at the end of the season. I guess it’s a good reason for the Habs to do or don’t do the trade. Bob Gainey would not give a 30 goal potential scorer and a good prospect and have nothing at the end of the year. As you probably know, Hossa will be a free agent at the end of the season.
