Bonino loses control of the puck and it slides five hole three miles an hour.

Can a team change goalies for the shoot out?

Not this season anyway.....
- faustus1500

Not any season. They will have to resign him for at least 1.2 mil. There will be better options. He gets too low and has no chance on any shot above 6 inches.

Wouldn't have mattered Phil. Raanta wasn't stopping anyone.
- Elbows15

Good point and it's too bad because he played a strong game despite a lot of traffic and loose d around him...

And to Mo...yes..the Captain has a nice arsenal of moves/ideas in the s/o...he still should have BURIED that 2 on 1 set up from 88...oh well.

Later lads

Bring on the Panthers sunday

They don't really impress me. Hawks were a tired team. They were in town and rested. Haven't played since Monday. They ain't all that.
- Elbows15

I agree with you, Elbows, they aren't as good as the Kings or Blues in my book.

Yes. Kane probably needs a break in shootouts and Toews or Sharp needs to score in the real game already. At least they played better the last two periods. We won't be seeing Anaheim unless they are the wild card anyway. That team can kick rocks

Agreed. I'm sure he will get a shot with another team, but there is no room for him in Chicago after this season.

Koivu stuck his arm out and hit Raanta. That's why the goal didn't count. Even if Seabs drilled him.

Getz and Perry don't impress you? You don't think Fistric had a good game? Koivu? Not saying they will beat the Hawks in a seven game series, at least I hope they don't if it comes to that. But the Ducks are a very good hockey team.

Gotta wonder if Toews is nursing an injury.... Doesn't look the same the last few games....

I knew that was coming. Superman struggles, got to be an excuse. Right on Que....I was just waiting for this....

They are a two player team. They aren't very quick. The team as a whole? No, they don't.

I'd like to look at that again. It's not how I saw it. What I remember seeing is Seabs bashing Koivu straight into Raanta, which effectively knocked him out of the ensuing score.

He needs a full year at Rovkford to work on his issues, not at the major league level.

I still see another chance for Bulin.

Maybe quick was the wrong word. They're not Datsyuk-stick-quick. They're big and physical, more like the Kings. But they out-hustled an obviously tired Hawks team, were more aggressive going after loose pucks, that sort of thing.

I wonder why Raanta didn't play in Minny and Crow tonight. No matter what, though, he's gotta keep playing one of the back-to-backs.

Watched 3 replays. He sticks his arm out to make contact. That's what knocked him back.

I am not saying they suck. They were definitely fresher. Even still, a tired Hawk team stayed right with them. And good lord, the Hawks D from top to bottom was pretty free with the puck.

What does this even mean? Arguably the most consistent player in the league and undoubtedly one of the best has a bad two weeks and he's superman who needs excuses?

Raanta was obviously nervous in the SO. But, it's looking like the 5 hole is a sieve in any case.
