I want to hunt down the person In DC who has that damn air horn.

Just wait a few years until Ovie starts producing less and they'll stop going to games again.

Agree 100%
Its for the same reason I hate the Giants more than the Cowgirls and the Mets more than the Braves. There's just something about NY teams that brings out my inner dark side!

True. before OV was there that place was empty. I would get tickets easily and the Flyers fans were often way louder than the cap fans. I went to one game where there were so many Flyers fans that when the Flyers left the ice after the win, they saluted us

If anybody's interested, aside from some poor guitar playing, a pretty good segment on the Sabres site about an old friend of ours:

Same with Pittsburgh, in a few years when they suck again they'll struggle to draw 12 thousand fans. Then we get listen to Mario cry about being a small market team and how they just can't reach the 2020 cap floor of 80million. Of course, Bettman will just engineer another a lockout and rig another draft lottery and all will be just dandy again!

Ugh, Gary Bettman. Yet another reason to hate NY!!

As someone who plays guitar, I would advise Ville to stick with that hockey gig as long as possible!

Rivalries come and go (in the past Boston, Ottawa, Buffalo, Toronto) because of playoff matchups but some rivalries never change. For me, that is the Rangers. its probably the NYC thing. I may hate the Pens more now but in my lifetime as a Flyers fan its always Rangers hatred. Same hatred for the Devils.
- nastyflyergirl

i'm with ya'. the mere sight of those fans in their jerseys when i'm at a game, regardless of location, with their horrible accents sparks me to violence.

Pittsburgh is my top hated. Hate the face. Hate the team. HATE. Sitting next to a Pens fan is guaranteed to have me fuming at the WFC.

I cant stand the HORN. How can you outlaw thunder sticks, and those turmpet things but still let Air Horns...

Caps, and Habs are the worst offenders, but I think it was ottawa that really pushed it over the edge this year... They had 2 guys on an air-horn that on the Flyers PP would alternate Honks. HONK-honk-HONK-honk. OMG it was so obnoxious. I think the Pens have it too, and the canes. Cant think of anyone else.

OMG he looks like such a DUCHE!

What the hell do you need a snow cap and cardigan on inside for! and who the hell wears a cardigan over a feaking t-shirt with matte balck jeans. It screams "I'm a douche!".

This past Red Wings game was my 15th live game seeing the Flyers since March 2002. I am now 6-8-0-1 when seeing the Flyers play live.

I've seen the Red Wings play a lot and I must say that they've proved two things to me. The first is they do need Datsyuk and Zetterberg to be successful but at the same time, their puck possession and support out there is truly poetry in motion. Even the worst player on that team can look like a star on any given night.

That 6-3 victory was a real treat regardless of who played. The Flyers shot themselves in the foot so many times that it's amazing that they still have toes...but they over came the situation they put themselves in. Fans were all over me. I couldn't have been more delighted to be there.

Best Flyers game of the year for me. The Ottawa game was good too.
Glad you got to see it live.
Tatar has a great set of hands, kind of surprised he isn't a regular for them yet.

If they can beat the Stars tomorrow, it shapes up to be a good road trip. If they can ever win in Chicago it could be a great road trip.

I believe Red Wings can create stars from anything they find laying at the side of the road.

As far as that game being a turning point, no way. We've got Hawks next week in Chicago and the Capitals twice. I don't think December will be as kind but not nearly as rough as October.

I am pessimistic that Dallas turns into another Minnesota game.

Who knows with these guys though.

With Mason and the D first system they have a shot at winning most nights.
Although I think the Blackhawks are going to go full Globetrotter on them and it will be very ugly.

If they stay out of the box against the Hawks they have a chance to win.

I also wanted to throw out there that the two goals Hartnell and Giroux scored in Detroit. As the players were coming off the ice during warm ups, Giroux and Hartnell were practicing those goals with one another, which tells me how serious these guys are.
