Hes still one of the best all around guys in the league. Age shouldnt mean anything. I believe Subban is far more deserving of the Norris than Karlsson ever was.

thing i don't get, if PK is as awful defensively as you all claim he is without watching him, how is it that he's constantly a plus player while drawing the top defensive assignment every night?

This is one hell of a stretch that I like to think is absolutely possible. Love the idea of McKinnon in Montreal, but that's a tall order in return.

if Subban keeps his play at the level it's at right now, he'll be nominated for the Norris again, that's number 1.

number 2, how many previous Norris winners were NOT considered one of the best in the game for the majority of their career? how many flash in the pan Norris winners were there?

I dont like PK. But he was more deserving of it than Karlsson. His game is more complete than Karlsson's. Karlsson is a one trick pony like Green in Wash. They just offensive dynamos. I get the feeling that PK wont make this Olympic team. But will be there for the next one. I think that between these games and the next ones he will most def mature so much more. He's still just to much to handle right now.

If you can manage to forget everything he's done up until the past year and a half, he's not one of the top defensemen anymore. He's still really good but he's lost a step. There's no shame in that either, he's a great player for being old as (frank).

He's definitely lost a step, but for 2013-14, I would still take him over some of the defencemen often listed as NHL's top15. Thankfully, we have good guys to take over.

PK would make any team in the league better, MacT should make a play to get him in edmonton before the season is a right off, I think he could help turn the team around in a hurry

Those guys fell off right after that though. Subban is more or less still doing what he did last year. Was his performance Norris worthy? I don't know, that's up for debate, but doesn't look like it was a fluke.

Cause he's on the ice a lot and other players happen to score so he gets a plus... like yesterday when he almost cost the game by himself with a minute to go (so many times I saw him screw up late in a game to cost the game with a mistake or by getting a bad penalty!) with that stupid defensive goof! luckily for him, Desharnais I believe saved his ass!
