What is today's version of Halak, Ryder and a 2nd?

Bourque, Diaz, and a 2nd?

One of these guys is a Norris Trophy winner. The other has 2 goals in 20 games and is signed for the next 7 years at $5.5M/per.

So you tell me who overrates whom. Or, you know, just look at the standings.

I think it's so cute that Jack Edwards takes time out of his busy schedule fellating the entire Bruins organization to post on HB.

I can't believe how much writings there is about PK Subban. Like this is way to much! Everyday there is something new about him. It makes you wonder why he gets so much attention from the media? Would it be because he has a distinct personality from the typical hockey player, or dynamic Dmen that leads the NHL, or Norris Trophy winner, or his new multi millions dollars deal coming up soon, or playing in Montreal, or maybe just mix of all the above. Add to this the fact that he is dark skin in a sport best known to be play by light skin people. I guess that makes him a media favorite. But still, enough is enough. I am a die hard Habs fan and we have reason to celebrate this morning with leading the Atlantic division with a hard win over Boston last night and Subban shouldn't be the topic. Just saying!

The old race card- pretty stupid comment. Habs without Markov - average- with Markov top of the standings - same with Subban no Markov - average - with Top 5 and Norris trophy.

Your response would hold some weight if you had your facts straight. Iginla is a halfsie. That makes it ok for some people. Not to mention he has zero flare or personality. Subban on the other hand isn't boring so that makes him polarizing for people. What else could it be? The guy is explosive offensively, a game breaker and rock solid in his own end. The myth of him being poor defensively has no legs to stand on yet still persists. What biasd reason do ppl have to hate subban. Do they know him personally? Did he beat up some old lady? I've had the pleasure of meeting him in Toronto last summer. Nothing in how he chatted or spoke to me struck me as him being an bumhole. Again I truly believe ppls bias of hate towards him is jealousy of his success and the colour of his skin. But wait there's no discrimination going on in NA anymore right?

Maybe try reading the comment. You are the one who brought the race card and I didn't include Iginla as an example or any other player. I did no question his personality nor state he did anything wrong please read the only one stating race and bias is you. I only stated that Markov is the stabilizing force on the team not Subban so look at the record, points etc. when the Habs have Markov and Subban and when they are without Markov. I know reading comprehension might not be your strong suit but give it a try.

The x factor that no Habs fan can factor in is, that Subban is the most hated player internally in NHL history, kid just has that fart in a spacesuit personality. Roy thinks he can tame that. Kid is loathed and despised in the Montreal dressing room, makes Kadri, who is similarly hated, seem popular.

If Montreal hadnt made the foolish Scott Gomez deal and gave AWAY Ryan McDonagh, they Probably could make this deal, but it would have to be a Two for Two, the second player of more value for the Habs, since Subban has alot more value than MacKinnon...Too bad the Habs didnt pick Chris Kreider a few years ago, however when Timmins picked another Bust in Louis Leblanc. There second line would be Explosive with Patches and Kreider..

Habs probably make a Major splash in a trade, sending Gionta, Bourque, Desharnais, and either Tinordi or Beaulieu to another team, the need for a big power foward at right wing is big time.
