I know, man. I'm messing with you.

I do think the dude who through the banana at Wayne Simmonds would be prejudiced towards PK based on racism. The rest of fans, I'm not so sure about. I really don't think the vast majority of hockey fans give a poop what colour or what country players come from.

Some Bruins' fans reaction after his OT goal in game 7 against Boston was very... classy? Is it how you say it?

As much as I'm a huge Subban fan, I'm well aware of the drawbacks on the guy.

But the people in here poopting on him defensively are doing so without just cause. Is he a rock in his own end? no. Does he make mistakes by over complicating things? yes.

But, he and Markov draw opposing teams top lines, and he's +9. You can say it's thanks to Markov if you want, but that's rather uneducated on the subject if you ask me, given that, while Markov may be more experienced and sound defensively, he isn't a rock either, and still gets caught cheating or trying to force plays from time to time.

I wouldn't trade him for NM. That's not a knock on MacKinnon at all, I think the guy will be an incredible player. But I value an elite calibre of player on D more than up front, and for that reason I wouldn't be willing to pull the trigger on it. That said, if for some reason PK wants out of Montreal and he won't re-sign here, fire away.

That's the key word. There are always going to be a small group of idiots who give an entire fan base a bad name. Every team has bozo's

I don't think they are in 'dire' need of D while sitting at 19-6 just 25 games after claiming the 1st over all draft pick.

I can't see the trade being that major. McGinn.....Stastny......Wilson.....sure. MacKinnon, com'on man!

My comment got under your skin huh? Just some jabs to get ready for the first Habs/B's game of the season. Friendly banter

Yes. Because he doesn't kill penalties and he fights with Guy Lafleur.
- hscesq

I'd like every defenseman on Team Canada to be able to kill penalties yup.

"PK doesn't have to kill penalties or block shots because is soooo special and the reigning *Norris Trophy winner so we don't want to risk him getting hurt. Besides, why would the winner of the trophy for best "defenseman" kill penalties and play the last two minutes of the game protecting leads? He should be on the power play!"

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the Big Bad Bruins vs the Habs in the 70's, wish I did. I think a lot of people live in the past with this rivalry, and try to force it now.

Better you didn't if you're a Bruins fan. It was all Habs at that time. Bruins had great teams, but one way or another (see Cherry, Don) they would find a way to lose.

He has for apparently the last 7 games. There is approx 200 other games that he has not. Small sample size.
