the leafs are 15th in man games lost.. middle of the pack
http://www.mangameslost.c...mes-lost-december-1-2013/ - Dozzer
in fairness, that stat is BS. Montreal is in 5th and id say that they've been pretty fortunate with injuries so far this year. a lot of those games are Davis Drewiske, George Parros and Douglas Murray. it's all about WHO is injured. |

misleading stat though, habs are 5th but many of those games were Murray and Parros, guys that have little impact. Losing Emelin was a different story.
Game lost to guys in your top 6 on offense, top 4 on D and #1 goalie, different story. - Symba007

They have yet to have a complete lineup dressed this year.
With that being said, if everyone gave a better effort and competed harder, they can help themselves plus a change in a system, the D-men have no outlet for passes and clearing with ther wingers no where in sight or out of position in the middle the ice staring at the puck. Other than that, there is no saviour coming who will help. - LeafMan

Forgetting about Emelin, Brière ((frank) that guy), Pacioretty and Bourque? - Scabeh
Emelin is the only significant injury. Briere and Pacioretty were not long term, neither was Bourque, and he's replaceable, as we saw in going 4-0-1 without him. our 3 best players--by a country mil--have been completely healthy. overall id say we're having good fortune so far. |

there is more to it than that
they are less than 500 playing playoff bound teams.. what does that tell ya? |
