I haven't seen a drop of emotion out of this team since Kadri ran over Backstrom and Granlund. Too many well-paid robots. We need some fugly emotion ..a rallying moment like we used to see from Gilmour, Clark or even Domi and Tucker.

Well they still may need a 'moment' even if they end up in the box. Something that says wake the (frank) up to the rest of the bench. Maybe Phaneuf or Clarkson look a little harder for a big open ice hit.

The ages is minimal, look at LA in comparison, very very close in age differential. It is not even close to an excuse that can be given.

Carlyle seems so blind to the uselss play of Orr and McLaren. He has others ahead of Smithson? How bout others ahead of Orr and McLaren. Sick of the goon menality

All the guys you listed are still with the team. The succeeded in Carlyle's system last season.

Your argument is that when they did well, it's because they were awesome, but now that the team's doing poorly, it's Carlyle's fault.


My argument from earlier on that got twisted into this melee was that the guys the Leafs brought in were upgrades to the guys the Leafs lost, but that some of the guys the Leafs were counting on last season have regressed or been injured... while some of the important additions have been absent from the lineup for one reason or another.
