But no, I really think the Leafs best first line fit would be a guy like Bergeron, Kesler or Backes. Which we likely can't get, unless of course you're taking the chance on a younger player like Courturier who projects like that. Or Gauthier becomes amazing.

With Bolland, say either of the above mentioned young players, those are some big centers. I'd even go as far as trading Bozak and a peice away to Phoenix for Vermette and a depth defenseman.

Yup you beat out 5 other teams with intense training and knowledge of the game to win those cups and if it wasn't for the league adding in 24 better teams since then you totally would have won more. Winning a cup back then and winning one now is totally the same thing.
