Baby Schenn can score and has a bunch of skill, but is pretty inconsistent and invisible at times.

You have to remind yourself he just turned 22 last August and to be patient. It can be tough being patient with a kid who was handed a top 6 forward slot, however.

point blank, while skating, an absolute rocket off the inside of the post. there was NOTHING soft about that goal, except for the play of the team in front of him that allowed it to happen.

I thought it was possible that Sean Couturier would be the Flyers' best player three years from now.

If he keeps playing like this...I'm not entirely certain that he won't be the Flyers' best player at the end of this season. If he isn't already -- Claude Giroux's more polished, but with Couturier playing with confidence and actually having wingers who can score, plus getting PP time...

By the Olympic break...I don't know that we won't have seen a subtle changing of the guard. Couturier looks like a different player, and it's tremendous to see.

hartnell was on the ice for one of the goals, and that's only because he came out of the box after punching that guy in the head and stayed on the ice. he hunted down the dump in that started the play...but c'mon tsn.
