The fact I like to hang around here confuses you?

As for your question, yes I'm sure. Thanks for worrying.

Edit: Fact is, I get along pretty well with some Leafs posters/refs and I enjoy it.

Didn't say anything about being confused, or worried.

Really dumb suggestion, but try eating vegetables and trail mix for breakfast, have the toast or whatever that you have for breakfast now at lunch, you'll find that your dinner will be a smaller portion. I'm not a heavy guy, never have been, but that diet has helped many people I know get real healthy (the veggies in the morning increase your energy levels), which believe it or not allows you to burn more calories. In the morning we're still detoxing so adding heavy foods in the morning doesn't help at all. I needed to switch to this diet because on my old diet I was destined for Osteoarthritis and diabetes.

I've gone through stretches of trying different things. Not really for weight loss. Just to see what it does, and how I react to it. Gluten free I've tried (didn't notice much of a difference). Juicing (I noticed my crap go the colour of carrots). Protein based diets.

I think the people who notice big differences on things like this are the ones that switch from eating McDonald's for lunch and order in pizza for dinner. I noticed a bit of occasional bloating go away when going gluten free (which you sometimes get after something like a big lasagna dinner), but nothing long term.

I don't really buy into the fad diets or most recent trends. If you incorporate bits of it in to daily life, and just watch these things in general, no point in going 100% gluten free, or 80% protein meals, etc. People have been eating glutens and carbohydrates for thousands of years. It's not causing huge problems. What causes problems is if you're whole diet is nothing but bread, or pasta, or whatever.

Maybe it's a little contest between him and Angello as to who will post first knowing full well that the last blog will get all the comments!

Nope, Mike and I have put together a game plan...were not working against each other lads, both working for the site and the readers. Cheers

Amazing how things can change so quickly. Last year he's a hero and a big reason why the Leafs stopped playing so terribly, like under Wilson. Now he's a goat that doesn't know what he's doing.
- prock

You agree with his decisions this year?

EDIT: Also, I think the fact they made the playoffs last year really overshadowed how the team actually performed. They were terrible in the last month leading up to the playoffs.

Tried Gluten free for a lark and it (frank)ed up my stomach flora so goddamn badly, be warned about that poop, there's like a 3% chance you're intolerant to Gluten (celiacs) and it can do more harm than good.

Winner winner, gluten-free organic chicken dinner.

But yea, I think your body finds a weight it likes settling at. I noticed when I was losing weight that I'd settle at different levels for a while, and then lose a bunch of weight quickly, and then plateau again.... until I got to 205. Can't seem to get below 200, and tend to bounce around 205... even when I exercise, I stay around the same weight, just look better.

Sure, you just can't put two fighters on one line that don't fight....

I know Dion is the leader, but our fighters should not be acting like him when it comes to fighting....

but how the F else are you supposed to celebrate the fact that you exercised

The whole thing makes no sense.

- Aetherial

Exactly!

Especially when its an organised game and you need to celebrate the win, or commiserate the loss...

It's not just celiacs that have issues with gluten... lots of small issues go away when you stay away from gluten, most noticeably bloating.

Gluten free stuff tends to be full of complex carbs, which don't make your blood sugar spike like simple carbs... and are better for people watching their weight.

So that's a bonus.

id cut orr right away, and id only dress mclaren when we fight a team that has a big time fighter.

if not, id be fine with smith-mcclemment-smithson as the 4th line.

So the main differences from last year?

Players? Well considering injuries, you may conclude that the lineups haven't had the opportunity to play with the same linemates for more than five games (aside from kessel and JVR). Also, having Bernier has only improved our team.

Management? Coaching team pretty much the same as last season, upper management has a few new faces.

Pressure? Definitely. Knowing that the Leafs had the ability to compete and actually accomplish something inspired fans and media alike to expect more out of this club.

24/7? Maybe. Cameras in the dressing room and on the ice at all times, zero privacy in an already media mad market (specifically referring to the dressing room).
