Corsi/Fenwick takes into account a lot more than shots on goal, namely attempts and possession stats, and it takes into account when possession occurs. for instance, you get a lot less credit for increased shot attempts and possession when you're down by 4 goals in the third period.

But SOG correlate pretty evenly with Corsi/Fenwick. And wouldn't SOG/close take into account score effect as well as Fenwick/close?

He also has scoring ability and a drive for the net. Playing Orr Smithson and FML all on one line is a spell for disaster, and it happened last night, scored the GWG on that line.

Exactly, this is where I totally disagree with Carlyles strategy in the lineup against a very good SJ team. Why do you have these 3 slugs on the same line and at a key point in the game where its 2-2 ? (frank)n useless line that is destined to get scored on....

Carlyle is to blame for this losing streak as much as anyone else. Im starting to get real pissed at his line combos.

And put Kadri back with Kessel and JVR. (frank) Bozak !

Neither are actually true. I do a bit of distance running. they actually have what they call a "clydesdale" division in some triathlons and marathons/half-marathons.
