Not really tough guy. If you're gonna chirp with sarcastic retorts as replies, back it up. It's not like I'm telling him I'm gonna run to his front door and kick his a$$. - prock

Or No ... - bixll
Sure he is. But if the opinion is that those 5 games are already lost, it's a pretty stupid opinion.
Like I say, odds are they win at least one. |

Both who? Gardiner? Id' say those are the two most logical. - prock
Fixed
I still hope they can package Gardiner + to get a center. The "+" depends on the center.

Leafs have scored two or fewer in 11 of past 14 games. 84% of offence from seven players, including Bolland who hasn't played in a month.
Shouldn't this tell RC that we need to roll more scoring lines instead of dressing a useless 4th? - peddy-93
The MacLaren Orr combo is useless now....we dont need both in the lineup because hardly any teams will fight both these guys....
Call up Leivo instead, at least he has some ok hands.... |

Corsi/Fenwick takes into account a lot more than shots on goal, namely attempts and possession stats, and it takes into account when possession occurs. for instance, you get a lot less credit for increased shot attempts and possession when you're down by 4 goals in the third period. - DoubleDown

Not a big deal. I'd say what I said was pretty reasonable. Besides, I'm sure some Habs fans would appreciate it if he took it. |

I think I'm gonna make up my own stat analogy based on superstition and finding corsi/fenwick equations specially made for the Leafs.
Does corsi take in concideration hot/cold streaks, player match ups, TOI, energy level of team, SWAG?
After hearing Mr. Joe speak before the game.. He laughed at playing the Leafs. That = a win.

who gives a shyt. The Canucks are junk. Their team is so screwed. They've got like $25M locked up in the sisters, Burrows, and Luongo, for many many years. And they're all on the declining side of their career. Their prospects are mostly junk. No starting goalie. I'd say if you were to rank all 30 teams in the NHL, in terms of their chances to win a cup in the next 5 years, they're number 30. Easily. Zero chance.
But if you tell them the truth, their refs just ban you. Look at this one:
one week for saying that Daniel Sedin is not a point per game player in response to one of them says he's a consistent year after year point per game player. Hasn't scored a point per game in 3 or 4 years now? - prock
I think that ref should be removed from his position. If that's the type of site Eklund wants to run, then by all means keep him on as a ref, but that is utter bullpoop. |

He also has scoring ability and a drive for the net. Playing Orr Smithson and FML all on one line is a spell for disaster, and it happened last night, scored the GWG on that line. |

the team stats don't, but there are individual stats that take into account matchups and where on the ice you typically start a shift (def or off zone), etc. |

I thought Rielly and Gardiner played well together last night when they were on the ice together. I thought Gunnarson played like crap and Dion was forced to cover his ass and miscues again. I thought Fraser looked like Komisarek. That about covers it for me.
Oh, and Clarkson can't handle a pass to save his life. He's great at carrying the puck himself, but I think he needs new contact lenses or something. |
