His player selection is baffling, Smithson Orr FML have a combined 0 pts in 37 games!!! How do you keep running this as a line..

Oh look! he puts them on after tie it up 2-2, get stuck in our zone for over a minute and a half and boom, game winner.

Almost every single player on SJ had a corsi over 50%, some over 80%. Our best one? Peter Holland at 65.5% which is really, really good. Although he did get mostly OZ starts.

To be fair burn, they allowed 50 shots, you're not gonna keep winning games allowing that many shots. And I know I know, low % shots. But the more shots you take, the better chance to score. Our goalies aren't going to save everything. A wrist shot from the point is harmless, the same wrist shot from the point with traffic in front is not so harmless.

Burn there is a reason 50 shot games rarely happen. Because they are train wrecks.

Agreed. Leafs did a tremendous job that game boxing out, no screens, no possible tip ins, no rebounds and no one around in case of any rebound.


The leafs have cut down on the shots against recently but top quality shots agianst WAY up. That is the issue

Not when we had a healthy team ...

and even then, how many games have we had a full top 6 (zero). I would imagine that for at least half our games we have been without 2 of our top 6 and 3 of our top 9.

The effect is felt not only on the top lines but also on the 4th line.

How is Liles not better than some of our D?

How do Orr and Maclaren have a position on the team. They are bringing absolutely zero to the table?

Does Carlyle get a free pass for icing the most fundmentally awful team in the league.

a highschool coach serving out his probation for a DUI could of won the cup with that anaheim team
