Just a good morning thought.....just because Burke is gone doesn't mean we're done rebuilding this team according to Burke and Nonis' original plan ...we don't have enough depth yet to help a depleted roster....we have a very good starting roster on paper now, but not much depth to back it up..yet.

Umm, Yeah it was. Much better than Buffalo game, CLB game, 3rd period in Pitts. This effort was much better than recent ones.

This is the way I'm trying to look at it, too, though it is difficult at times. A little perspective is needed here. I think the Leafs clearly have some good pieces in place. This last month has also clearly illuminated their glaring deficiencies. There simply is still work to be done on this roster. At the very least, the Leafs do have options to try to improve and upgrade. I feel that there are some critical decisions in the days ahead.
