For three years I'm okay with it. We've got plenty of cap space and he'd be able to play out the full term. On the other hand he might ruin or chances at 2015 1st overall so maybe not .

Depends on if the new GM wants to go the "draft, trade, and UFA route", or just purely the "draft route" Darcy was going for.

If this could be a short-term rebuild like the Sens did, yeah sign him for 3 years.

Absolute crap imo. Why is Sulzer or McBain so important not to put them on waivers? Unbelievable. Not pleased with this. That kid has worked hard and deserves a spot on the D.

For a guy who has no real future here sign me up for a 3rd all day.

NYI 1st + 2nd + 3rd moves you up get a better player. Use Picks to move up or to aquire talent. WHo has Devine liked in the past few years you can snag away

Facts schmats. Sulzer is hurt can't send him down and I guess they didn't want to expose McBain to waivers. It's a numbers game, plus I doubt anything drastic happens with the roster until a GM is hired
