Gudlevskis got recalled to the Crunch too, even though SYR has two healthy goalies. Some speculation that something might be happening. |

Cooper said there's "lots of concern" that Brewer's injury might be more than one game. So many injuries! |

Nothing. Though if the no-scoring problem continues to be a problem, I wouldn't be surprised to see SY target someone who can help out in that area. |

People wondered what he would look like without 91. Now we know. |

there was a marty before stamkos ever came into this league and he was pretty damn talented. where did he go?
(frank). i wish we would either put kucherov on a line with filppula or st louis. he would be able to finish for both of those bastards... |

i think marty can do it. he just doesnt seem to be skating the way he can...its frustrating because we know how fast he is and we rarely see it... he showed it VS the rangers...then doesnt show it at all. hes small as poop. i love marty as much as the next guy hes been my favorite player since i was 8 years old, but when he doesnt use his speed and work hard in corners hes average, maybe even worse than avarage. if he uses his speed and uses his work ethic in the corners against big defenseman hes way above average, his size doesnt matter at all
his work ethic in the corners and speed is what makes him such a threat to set up plays, hes alittle pest who creates turnovers in the corners and can burn defense with his speed , i say give kucherov a shot on the 1st line with fil and marty. or killorn and marty |

Age might be coming into play here. I mean, playing alongside 91 makes his job a hell of a lot easier. Without him, some of the flaws that come with age are being exposed. That's not a bad thing; it's just reality. We all have to accept that Marty is getting older here. |

Hoping Kucherov gets put with Marty and Filppula, or something along those lines at least. Mind you Fil had an absolute horror show tonight imo. |

we have lots of young players on the roster! We just have to have patience you can't lose steven stamkos and still expect to play well every night. |

Filppula had a rough night, no doubt. I'd like to see the line you've suggested. Marty and Fil need a shooter with them. |

It may be time to face the fact that a may actually be in trouble. We are missing to many quality veteran and players to continue at the pace we were on. With Stamkos, Malone, Gudas and now Brewer? Shut out in two straight games and struggling offensively is not a winning combo. Most of our wins have been emotional highs and we aren't able to find a way to win with that. I mean come on kids we got out hit by a margin of two to one . |

we need Gudas back.
we are without one of our best locker room leaders, malone.
we are without our top 4 physical defenseman who makes smart plays, gudas.
we are without our #1 guy Stammer
these 3 factors are enough to make a team slip a little, even the blackhawks would slip if they lost kane/toews and seabrook, along with whoever rocks in their dressing room...ESPECIALLY if the rest of the team is just rookies fresh out of the american league |

Exactly time to let the kid shine on the top line and PP. the Jackets were quicker to the puck and forechecked Filp all night. Outside of one Aulie body check no one seemed to throw the body checks to slow them done except for the Jackets. |
