Wouldn't it be fun if Laughton and Leier were out killing penalties together
- PhillySportsGuy

Not 100% sold Leier makes it but if he does I bet it would be in a 4th line role.

I was more interested in Canada only inviting 25 player to the junior camp not the normal 40 plus the big OHL trade this morning.
- ob18

What trade?

And what do you think about free agent Dane Fox and his 31 goals so far this season? Can he be signed at any time, and why hasn't a team grabbed him?

I have no idea right now.

Strange happenings. And, for what it's worth -

Peter Luukko, President and Chief Operating Officer of Comcast-Spectacor, unexpectedly resigned on Monday.

"I've had better days," team president Ed Snider said. "This came out of the blue."

Not surprised Lukko is gone. Xfinity Live was his baby, wasn't it? It was supposed to be a huge mall/shopping venue and it ended up a glorified TGIFridays. Totally botched plan.

His field of dreams turned into a backyard whiffle ball game.

If this lingers, is there any chance the Flyers call up a more skilled forward from the Phantoms?
- PhillySportsGuy

What's sweet is there isn't a phantom forward with more points than Gervais. At least last time I checked

Say more about the state of the economy at the time. the initial plan had a mall and hotel. I was looking forward to it. I walked in and right out the first and only time I have been there. was not impressed

I just looked and Akeson is leading in points but Bruno is right behind him. The most encouraging number is Lauridson's +7 despite being on a minus team. Alt is even with 6 points. His SH% is pretty low, so his goal numbers may get better.

Talked to Lecavalier, said he's never had back spasms before and this was totally new for him. Working through it with trainers.

- PhillySportsGuy

Well vinny this was bound to happen when you soon realized you had to pick this team up and carry it at age 35

Back spasms are incredibly painful. There is nothing you can really do except rest and wait for it to go away.

"We felt we could take advantage of some of their foot speed, or lack thereof," said Nashville coach Barry Trotz, referring to the Flyers.

Thought this was amusing: "Countless times Flyers’ announcers Jim Jackson and Gary Dornhoefer mentioned Couturier’s strong play before the Phoenix native was named the first star in a 2-1 win over the visiting Coyotes."

Jagr has been great and I really wanted him back here but I really don't doubt that he will start to run out of steam as the season progresses
