Yeah I was annoyed how they followed up a great 5X5 shift by Ebs with an awful PP in the first I think. There were 3/4 bad ones tonight. An okay one in the second but that last one nearly won the game.

If I'm the Oilers he's getting one from the get-go. We know what he can do and what he can be (1A/1B); his terrible start this season just means a discount. Depending on how the rest of his season goes and who's still not resigned by June, give him something like 1.5-2 million for a year or two. He's at least a solid back-up.

For me, until the defense is fixed, I keep a goalie who at has played well behind that trainwreck.

Wait it out on re signing dubnyk. Even if hey finished the season strong, his start cost us a playoff spot so he's never going to be in a position to dictate terms.

If he doesn't finish the season well we've reupped a poopty goalie. Unless we could get him for like 1,25 I don't see a point of negotiating right now
