petry needs to bury that. - deks1
wow, it was weird seeing them control the first 2 minutes of OT like that.
Just so rare.
Eidt: Yeah Petry though t about it extra half-second too long. Hindsight says he should snapped it quicker. |

Yeah I was annoyed how they followed up a great 5X5 shift by Ebs with an awful PP in the first I think. There were 3/4 bad ones tonight. An okay one in the second but that last one nearly won the game. - Salvo
I thought nuge had that one |

Very solid effort between the pipes.
They played sloppy, awful hockey at times tonight but thought all along they at least had some mojo kickin tonight.

If I'm the Oilers he's getting one from the get-go. We know what he can do and what he can be (1A/1B); his terrible start this season just means a discount. Depending on how the rest of his season goes and who's still not resigned by June, give him something like 1.5-2 million for a year or two. He's at least a solid back-up.
For me, until the defense is fixed, I keep a goalie who at has played well behind that trainwreck. |

Beauty of an OT period. Maybe the Oil need to make their new game plan playing 4 on 4. |

Wait it out on re signing dubnyk. Even if hey finished the season strong, his start cost us a playoff spot so he's never going to be in a position to dictate terms.
If he doesn't finish the season well we've reupped a poopty goalie. Unless we could get him for like 1,25 I don't see a point of negotiating right now |

They'll find a way to bring him back after they see the backlash over their terrible replacement. |
