Yeah...that was the Detroit game that i attended and it was Forte. Have no stats to back it...but my tells me that on 2 point conversion tries...the pass/run ratio would be 8:2 or 9:1 and Trestman runs ????? When the running game sucked all day. Element of surprise you might say. Didn't fool a phuck'n SOUL.

What do I get?

About 7 f'ing pages in front of the few columns given to the best sports team in town. Instead, I got to see all the crap about the Bears, whose season is toast. Really, who the f cares?
And the Bulls? Even with D Rose, they weren't going to win anything this year.
Without? Simply a joke.

So, don't torture me any more please! No more Bulls, no more Bears, no more baseball or soccer or any other crapping sport.

I come here for the hockey.

But for the hockey buzz we need - another game on NHLNetwork with major implications for the Hawks - Detroit and Ottawa.

Sure am glad we have all of these Eastern games on.

Hi DK - I am not here to get into the middle of this debate you are having with Phil. I just want to point something out - Phil is providing a service here. He is a world-class venter; a real artist at blowing the proverbial stack. In addition he has a wonderful ability to succinctly express the same venom shared by us all. When he does this it provides a great sense of relief to many of the rest of us. It is after we've all experienced the blowing of the gasket that the logical discussions can occur (at which Phil also excels)!

I do speak from the heart and attempt to adhere to a standard of FAIRNESS and HONESTY. That's why i appreciated Arlington Rob's REALISTIC outlook on this preeeeetender of a football team.

Supporting Chicago sports teams for so many years gives myself and i'm sure many of y'all plenty of practice in the practice of 'VENTING'.

Since everyone seems to be talkin football, ill ask how long till we hear some sort of cleverly worded complaint from Marshall in a press conference about not getting the ball enough coming off the heels of a game in which Jeffery got all the attention? 1 day? maybe 2? Or did he already say something?

Indeed...personally...i CAN'T STAND CUTLER. He's smart, has a great arm...but his mechanics are STILL POP WARNER and he's what...a 10 year NFL vet now ?

Moreover...he's has the swag of a loser to me. When/if he proves me wrong, i'll gladly salute him. He was having a fine season this year and his win-loss record in Chicago is pretty good overall...but he's 1-7 against G.B. and was 0-2 against Detroit this year.

McCown's done an excellent job this season despite his limited ability. Really like his poise and control, though at times, he does take too long to unload the rock. And today, that botched lateral to Long or whatever the phuck that was...was BONEHEADED to be sure. But McCown gave the Bears a good chance to win. I haven't missed Cutler AT ALL.

My mom raised three boys and is now 75. She started out not liking sports, but slowly got dragged into it by two of us boys and my dad. Now I cannot watch games with her - she starts with the female doging after the first play and never lets up!!
