Carlyle probably has until Christmas at the latest to turn this around or he'll be looking for work elsewhere. After last season, MLSE isn't going to give up on the playoffs without a fight and with everyone playing bad, Carlyle is the obvious scapegoat. I can't say I wouldn't agree with that right now either. If he can't get the team to play his game then there's no reason to have him here.

carlyle was on record the other night saying he wanted clarkson to "tone it down" with the aggressiveness....thats insane imo to tell a guy to not play with some sand paper if thats what makes him successful

The defence is really slow, add to it that the wingers are to low and far from the boards, so the D ring it around the boards to waiting D men at the points and the cycle starts all over again.

As for the grit, we have only one, Clarkson, that's it.
