Last year's team responded fairly well to adversity. I would say there is some adversity swirling around the team now. Tonight should be interesting to see how everyone responds. - fifty__missions
any idea who is starting tonight? we play tomorrow too (montreal) so i just wonder if they go bernier tonight and reimer tomorrow or vice versa. |

If it's saved to your desktop then look for the file under "desktop" but if it's saved somewhere else and you have it as a desktop background you need to ind where it's saved. Probably in "my pictures" - Arctic_AARDVARK

Wtf ? Leafs fans last year were begging and crying for a playoff berth and ready to blow things up if it didn't happen. This year almost everyone is expecting them to contend for the cup ? 90% of you are just as bad as the media in your expectations of a young team, that just happens to be in it's infancy where team chemistry is concerned. This team is still building whether we like it or not. Sure Carlyle isn't perfect, sure Kessel isn't perfect, sure Dion makes (fatal) mistakes (who i thought played his best game of the year vs. the Pens),
but of course every armchair coach and GM here has the magical formula for team success on a nightly basis.
With the parity in this league, sans a few teams who have been building for years if not decades (Pens, Nucks, Sharks, Hawks etc.), should we really expect this team to go 55- 25- 2 ?
You can't build a house and define which day it comes to final perfection. There's too many variables that you have to address one at a time, so how can we expect to build a cup champion in 4 years give or take ? Patience ffs. At least we're competing with the big boys, and anything can happen in the playoffs. That's good enough for this Leaf fan.
Go Leafs.

My suggestion is to use youtube. There is one guy on there - his channel is called "Deltabluestips". He is this sort of really interesting guy from Liverpool, and he has (or at least used to have) lessons on his channel that would take you anywhere from beginning fingerpicking right up to lessons on Robert Johnson tunes. Although a bit 'out there' at times, he is a great teacher, and quite entertaining too. |

i like it, i do, but countless years of medicoricy makes us hunger for a team that will go 55-25-2. So when the ship is sailing so smoothly, its tough to take when we crash through big waves losing guys like bolland, lupul and get off course. I dunno about you, but i dont want to be in 10th place with 2 weeks left knowing we have to win every game and need other teams to lose, i just dont want to do that anymore.

he may not be the piece we need, but del zotto isnt exactly a bad player. he has more nhl experience than gardiner, and puts up pretty good numbers. |
