it wouldnt work at all would it
also.. cap ceiling is set 15% above midpoint and floor set 15% below
so if the ceiling was 100 million, the mid point would be 86.956 million, meaning the cap floor would be 73.913 million.
it would absolutely bankrupt most of the league - Dozzer

Never thought about it that way.
Was looking at Capgeek. Leafs only have a 64 (or something) mil cap and Bostons got a 71-2. That's another elite player cap space.
Wouldn't Toronto/Montreal have the highest caps? |

Alex Steen is on pace for 68 goals. Other than Brett Hull, no #Blues player has ever scored more than 54 goals in a season.

Never understood that trade, I get the Leafs had to trade Rask and it was a brutal trade (never trade a goalie prospect within the division, never) but Steen? |

yeah no problem
equation as follows.
100 million ceiling / 1.15 = 86.956 million (mid point) x 0.85 = 73.913 million (floor) |

#Penguins James Neal now has 14 points in 10 games since returning from injury (7 goals, 7 assists).
Could this guy make a serious run to being considered for team Canada? |

The answers a question honestly and gets roasted. I guarantee there are not many more stressful jobs than being the coach of the maple leafs... |
