Most are tertiary assists. He NEEDS to start scoring, that was one of the reasons we were doing so well last season.
- A_Tree

if he hits that 40P mark this year.. the leafs do NOT want it to go to arbitration

franson will get whatever he wants

i sure hope granberg is ready next year... or Ranger keeps improving and signs cheap again
- jribout

I think Percy will get the long look, does everything well and rarely panics with the puck, might be a fit with Dion.

Granberg doing pretty good on the Marlies right now, I'm looking forward to seeing more of MacWilliam though.

hopefully granberg, percy, and macwilliam can turn into our 3 "stay at home" types

Than trade him. It would hurt much less to be without Franson than Phaneuf, you know that is true.

THOSE WERE HUGE GOALS!

Seriously though, it would really help if the D chipped in every now and then.

- A_Tree

Yeah, our offensive from our D was actually pretty good last year, now, poop.

Percy plays a two way game, not exactly "stay at home".

I still think we have a good one in Sweden in Tom Nilsson, he is signed and is ready to come over.

Been saying this all year. He will be in the line-up next year. Plays a very simple, no non-sense game in his own zone, poised with the puck and makes smart plays. Under-rated breakout pass as well. He's pretty much a better version of Gunnar.

0.25PPG in the AHL

in the NHL it will be less.

he isnt a two way guy.. he's a defensive minded stay at home guy

Too much relative to what? He deserves at least 6, which would be a absolute steal. I'm beginning to believe that Kule will be out by the deadline ( ), Franson too. We'll hang on to Gardiner and either bring in a guy by trading the aforementioned or go with someone already in the system.

So let me get this straight...if Franson gets 40 points he can get whatever he wants as an RFA in arbitration, but if Dion, as a legitimate stay at home defender, only gets 40 points he's not worth 7m as a UFA?

Yeah...ok.
