but he did? Are you serious? If Price had saved those 2 goals Montreal would have totally won 4-0!
- KovyFan27

all im saying is it was an empty net chance away from the refs being the difference..... not like it was 4-0 with 1 goal called back.

If Leaf fans weren't complaining about / blaming the refs after every loss then people might give some merit for a bad call. #boywhocriedwolf

1st period... refs took momentum away from TO by calling back a goal created by a non-call in the corner.

2nd period... Montreal dominates most of the period but Leafs battle back near the end of the period. Bernier with a SOFTY.

3rd period... Refs take momentum away from MTL through their non-calls all over the ice. Price makes saves and Phaneuf swings his stick like he's playing Ken Griffey Jr's Winning Run on SNES.

The end.
k, bed time now, off you go.

Pete, the refs have now beaten the Leafs a dozen times this year including last night. Sorry, don't see it.

Refs are human, they'll make mistakes on both sides.
That goal should have counted, I think they didn't count it as a make-up call... but it was a mistake on their part.
They then spent most of the game trying to make up for it.
Bottom line is that tonight, the team with the most hustle won as is the case on most nights, in spite of the officiating.

edit: This is in no way, shape, or form an excuse for the joke that is officiating in the NHL since the 2004 lock-out.
