in a shocking development, some guy on 690 had a good point about just that yesterday.

mentioned how a guy like that can't just be thrown in one game out of 10 and be expected to drop the gloves against guys like Thornston or Orr who play pretty much regularly. pretty much a recipe for disaster.

I like the idea of a guy liek Parros I just don't understand why the habs got him if they intended never to play him. kinda reeks of bad scouting.

I think Bournival messed up the plans they had this season.
Who's out of the lineup when Bourque comes back? Would you play Parros ahead of Bourque or Bournival?

i think they anticipated things being a lot rougher than they have turned out to be, in terms of having to fight regularly. we've gotten by with guys like Moen and Prust doing most of the fighting.

once again I completely forgot about Bourque.

right now there's nobody who should come out of the lineup for him.

Bourque is ready isn't he? it's just that his injury has coincided with the winning streak.

If Bergevin could find a way to replace Gionta by a bigger RW, this team could be quite good.

Great goaltending with Price.

Three top defencemen with Subban, Markov and Emelin.

Three scoring lines and a very good fourth line.

I would look at Havlat to replace Gionta. He would add size and skill to the RW.

FYI

MB was with Graves last night. He normally follows the team on the road.

The meeting between those 2 was the second in the last week. A deal seems to be imminent.

The base of the trade, which was described as solid by Graves, is Pacioretty + a prospect + another roster player (cap issues) for Nash.
