D'accord avec toi. Ils donnent beaucoup de glace aux jeunes au lieu de signer 3-4 Vétérans de la ligue américaine. C'est certain que ça va transparaitre dans les résultats.

And that's why I don't give a flying (frank) about the AHL.

Talking about development, it's not going very well for McCarron , especially offensively.

It's far from exciting hockey, but it's fun to follow as a prospect junkie.

Naw, adjusting has been rough, but he can play in that league.

I'm far from being in panic mode, but his production is pretty bad. He did bust one of his shoulders early in the season, but played over the injury after a few games of break. Hitting is a big part of his game, so that can explain why he's struggling.

Maybe he should have let his shoulder heal, but he does need the playing time.

Overall he's just not playing well, and that is underwhelming, especially after having a great camp in MTL.

London is a very strong team, so if you're not producing, you're going to see 4th line minutes quick.

I'm confident the Hunters will do a good job with him.

5'10 is not that bad, he's pretty stocky, and he's a swift skater. Shouldn't be a problem for him.

Was kinda happy when the announced the Bulldogs would move to Laval.

I probably won't go see them much more than I currently do.

Bill Watters did I believe. Though he is on record as saying Phaneuf is a glorified number 4 defenseman worth only 3 million

AT least he knows early enough...he's not wasting time in college (from a hockey fan perspective, getting an education is not wasting time) just getting by thinking everything will be fine against lesser competition.

Weren't we saying the same about Tinordi (minus the offense part) his first year in the OHL? Loocked ok in training camp and in the AHL right now...

Kid's 18, first year with other kids who've probably all played more hockey against tougher competition...he'll adjust.

His situation ressembles Tinordi a lot. Thing is that when Tinordi arrived in London, the Knights were not contenders. Even if he was struggling, they kept throwing minutes at him because they didn't have any better option.

The Knights have ridiculous depth. And playing the adjust card is right, but on the other side of the coin, you have a 16 year old rookie in Mitch Marner who is doing extremely well on the same team.

Tinordi looked like a bust after his first season there. They don't play as many games in the US National Development Program (35 games per season). Looks like he will have to make the adjustments and get in good shape. He will need some time before we can see him in a Habs uniform.

Wonder if "Nygga" would have left sooner if the team was in Laval.

Well, at this point it's on him to develop...he's not a London prospect...it's not like the habs can "dictate" playing time there...when he gets to Hamilton, it'll be different.

It'll be interesting to see if he takes the Latendresse route of letting others dictate what happens with his career (as if his development was the sole responsibility of the organization) or take things in his hands and work on his game to not give London and eventually the habs the choice to play him more.

Adjusting to the NA way of life wasn't easy, but Laval seems to be a better place to live than Hamilton. Probably.

1 more year in the OHL followed by 1 or 2 in the AHL???

Please give me a precise time table as to when I can go buy my McCarron t-short.

He has a good attitude. I'm not too worried for his physical development.
