Yeah I'm excited. I read Seguin is questionable for tonight, which is a big deal for them, since their scoring is top-heavy, lacks depth.
- Tugboat

just read this on Rotoworld..

Tyler Seguin (undisclosed) is healthy enough to play Friday.
Seguin missed two straight practices and Stars coach Lindy Ruff began to question his availability. He's having a fantastic season with 12 goals and 23 points in 23 games."

Soft goal my ass...

Olczyk's full of it. Great shot with bodies in front.

Nice goal by McDonagh!

Seguin and Nechushkin are going to be long term positive forces down there - so many good young players in the league now.

The real story is jamie Benn helping reign in "Steers & Queers, they stole my tweeter account password" Tyler Sequin, and Benn moving abck to wing, where as funny as it sounds Benn has gifted sequin more superb passes fopr one timers than benn has gotten from his centre.

To me the other back story is how Jim Nill & company will go out and find talent.
The big kid on defense, Brenden Dillon is something. I know many a website has him type cast as third pairing water mark, but there is a two sided game. He is really good and smart on the attack, point and has the size and nasty on defense.
and the fact that he leapfrogged over high pick Jamie Oleksiak, 2nd rounders Patrik Nemeth & Ludvig Bystrom just makes it more exciting.

Dillon was a midget as his draft year approached, and then as draft eligibilty was expiring he grew like 9 inches in from 5 foot two in a year, Seattle took a chance on him and it took all his seaosns there to get his feet to catch up his body and adjust to the WHL.
Teams thought about picking him in the final third year of eligibility, but didn't…and he keep growing and getting thicker and improving his skating foot speed and agility.

I actually think he is there best all around defender, because he is soldi in all phases PP, and PK.

So you can believe the experts or stick with my eyes…this kid is plenty goo and a big part of their future.
(Let's see if the Hawks can turn him inside out like they did the great Ryan Stanton, I doubt they will…)

I like when teams get better, especially those that play in tough US markets.

I would have saved Crawford for Phoenix too. But as long as Raanta starts one of the games this weekend I will be happy.

Maybe the reasoning is Crawford is no great shakes vs. the Coyotes....But who knows at this point.

So all the beat writers pretty much report and tweet the exact same information with little analysis or opinion or creativity or anything to entertain or captivate me. Maybe they could be consolidated to just one.

Watching the Rangers today...

...should remind us all how fortunate we are to be Hawks fans.

That was an awful exhibition in the 3rd period.

They do what they are looked at to do...Things are slowly changing here but this isn't Toronto.

They all have a ton of Twitter followers and the vast majority don't want analyses or opinions...Otherwise I would think my following would be a lot greater.

I wasn't fishing for more followers or looking to shine my nose.

The facts are the facts and those on here that like to analyze the game are in the minority.

Even some who know more about the game than most let the poms poms get in the way....So if I criticize or say the team isn't playing well or possibly could lose if they don't pick it up-Well some don't like to hear that.

I waited a long time to get on Twitter but finally realized I should...I could have been on years sooner.

If you are someone that uses your cell phone a lot I would recommend Twitter....or is a on a PC a lot.

It is a good way to get sports/ news updates.

You can follow many people or a few, it is up to you.

It can become as intrusive to your life as you want it to be. I know some that make it a major part of their lives and many that don't.

I find Twitter to be an excellent tool. You can customize it by following your specific interests. For me it's 95% hockey and 5% movies. You're right in that it allows you to get a lot of updates to other teams/players/leagues you may not normally follow. It's also the quickiest way to get information on trades, signings etc. I post things from time to time, but for me it's about getting my hockey fix.

Q's stache casts a long shadow, under which hide benched rookies, burned out goalies, a dog house and a large troupe of circus jugglers for inspiration.
